Peter’s pilgrimage ends in style with over £5000 raised for FSW

5th Dec 2022

Peter Gayler, a long-term supporter of FSW from St Margaret’s, Angmering, has been on a cathedral pilgrimage throughout 2022. Since February he has visited all 42 English cathedrals as well as Westminster Abbey, attending a service in each one whilst raising money for FSW on his travels. Peter’s pilgrimage concluded at Chichester Cathedral at the end of November, where we held a little celebration to mark his wonderful achievement.

During his travels Peter raised over £5000 to support our work – you can read his whole story and see photos from all his visits on his fundraising page here . Peter was interviewed about his pilgrimage on BBC Radio Sussex on Sunday 4th December – you can click the link here to listen (the interview starts at 1 hour 31 minutes into the show). We are so grateful to Peter for his dedication to this challenge throughout the year – well done!
