Volunteer

Our volunteers provide invaluable support across every area of our work.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with your local community and make a real difference to FSW’s work. Whether you have an hour a month or a whole day a week to spare, we could find a volunteering role for you.

Volunteering opportunities include:

FAMILY SUPPORT

You could assist our Practitioners with one-to-one support for families, or by helping out at group activities such as after-school clubs.

FUNDRAISING

You could join a local deanery committee or arrange your own fundraising and awareness-raising activities

CHARITY SHOP

You could volunteer at our charity shop in Eastbourne

USE YOUR SPECIFIC SKILLS

Maybe you are a brilliant social media user, or a 5-star Ebayer? You could volunteer to help with specific projects where we need a particular skill

HELP AT HEAD OFFICE

You could volunteer to help in the office, by sorting donations to the foodbank or by doing some gardening

By volunteering with us, you can meet new people, develop new skills and feel great about making a positive contribution to your local community. If you’re interested in finding out more about volunteering with Family Support Work, our volunteer co-ordinators Jane (West Sussex) and Alison (East Sussex) would love to talk to you.

Please email them directly, or fill out the volunteer application form below and one of them will be in touch with you very soon.
