We’re delighted to announce that our annual Easter Monday sponsored walk is now open for registration! On Monday 22nd April we are returning to Alfriston for the first time since 2014, with a beautiful 7-mile route taking in some of Sussex’s most beautiful countryside, including the famous Long Man of Wilmington.
Despite the atrocious weather last year, a brilliant group of dedicated walkers managed to raise £5000 to support our work throughout Sussex. This year, with Easter falling a month later, we are hoping for blue skies and sunshine and are aiming for total of £10,000. We would love as many people as possible to join us, so please do think if this is something you might like to do with your friends and family to work off the chocolate excesses of the previous days! If you aren’t able to walk, we are looking for volunteers to help us with marshalling and helping to serve refreshments at Wilmington Village Hall, so please do get in touch if this is something you might be able to do. We’d like to say a big thank you to the members of Lewes and Seaford Deanery committee, who are co-ordinating the refreshments for the event.
If you’d like more information about the walk, please contact Melissa in the office on 01273 832963 ex.304 or email melissa@familysupportwork,.org.uk. Registration and sponsorship forms can be downloaded via the links below – please send your registration forms directly to Melissa as soon as possible. We look forward to seeing you!
