FSW celebrates High Sheriff’s award

We were delighted and honoured to receive an award from Dr Tim Fooks, High Sheriff of West Sussex 2020-21, earlier this week. Martin, our CEO, and Alyson, our Chair of Trustees, accepted the award on behalf of all the FSW team. The letter accompanying the award read:

“It is a great pleasure to advise you that I am making a High Sheriff award to Family Support Work as a public acknowledgement of the outstanding service that you have provided to those you have been working with and supporting during this exceptionally challenging year….I would particularly like to thank Family Support Work for your team’s unstinting efforts to maintain your crucial and compassionate support of vulnerable families and their children across West Sussex…For all that Family Support Work has achieved  during this year, our county owes you a great debt of gratitude”.

This award means a great deal to us, and is testament to the dedication of all of our staff over the last year.
