Individual supporters raise funds for FSW in a wonderful variety of ways. Ways you can help include:
We’re very grateful to supporters who open their beautiful gardens in aid of FSW. They often charge an entry fee, sell tea & cakes, plants and other items. One supporter was a member of an art group, which held an exhibition during the opening of their garden.
Open gardens raised thousands of pounds for FSW each year, which is used to help children and families in Sussex.
We are always pleased when adventurous individuals take on a personal challenge in support of FSW. From abseils to marathons to skydives, we will cheer you on every step of the way and publicise your challenge to help you collect sponsorship.
Maggi Pratt from our Eastbourne Deanery Committee decided to run the Vitality Brighton Half Marathon for FSW and raised over £750.
Many prefer to support FSW with a monthly donation. By becoming a Friend, you can give from £3 a month and in return receive our printed newsletter 2-3 times a year, along with invitations to events and a right to vote at the AGM.
The Friends are a growing community of Sussex people who care about local children and families and want to help. Please contact us for more information or to join.
